As a professional Interior designer in Bergen County, NJ, I am sometimes asked to make suggestions to enhance this special day.
Here are some of my suggestions.
ADD A POP OF RED.
Red is a great color that stands out especially against white. Whether it is a dining tablescape or another area of the home, red transforms a space.
Roses are the key flower that comes to mind on this day.
ADD SOME CHOCOLATE HEARTS, KISSES OR CANDIES.
You won’t have to worry that there will be left overs. Placing them in a clear glass container makes sure everyone knows what they are.
SIGNS.
I like to make a little heart cut out and write “I love you!” and tape it to the mirror in the bathroom. That gets lots of smiles and kisses in return!
THROW PILLOWS.
This one certainly sends the message.
