Bergen County Interior Design Firm

What are the things that are most important to you when you work with an interior designer?

Clients have lots to say about what they want their home or work place to be like.

They have likes and dislikes. They are concerned about their budgets, maybe not even knowing what that should be. They wonder if they will like the finished product. Every client who has not done this kind of work before has concerns. That is why working with a professional interior designer is so valuable.

What can you expect?

Rona is a great listener. She learns about you and your desires so she can design for your pleasure and comfort, bring a smile to your face and improve your surroundings through the power of interior design. She provides inspired design solutions for the life you live.

What should I know about Rona?

Rona is the only interior designer in Northern New Jersey who blends two disciplines for your benefit, that of Home Economics and Interior Design. She received her B.S. Degree in Home Economics from Hunter College and then later went back to Parsons in NYC for a degree in Interior Design. When she designs a kitchen, you know–she knows what she is doing!

You end up living better in your home and working smarter in your place of business as a result, improving the quality of your life.

What can Rona do for me?

As your advocate in the process, she knows that you may only be doing this for the first time. But with her interior design experience, you can be sure that she knows what to do. Rona takes away your worries, keeps to your budget and timeline and protects you from making costly errors. Over many years, she has used her knowledge and experience to develop a great business.  Her team of other tradespeople are called upon as needed to complete her projects, whether residential interior design or commercial interior design.

What is Rona’s background?

Besides her degrees, Rona passed the NCIDQ exam, becoming a professional member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers). She is a NJ State Certified Interior Designer and must take continuing education courses to keep her status. These courses include information on building codes, lighting, fire safety issues, new technology, fabric safety, air quality and ventilation, universal design concepts, aging in place and design with sustainable materials, to name a few areas of study.

An interior designer brings you knowledge and understanding you can trust.

Rona is an articulate spokesperson for the design profession, addressing architects and builders, as well as non-profit organizations. As a former President of the New Jersey Chapter of ASID, she received its highest honor, the Medalist Award, for distinguished service to the design profession. As a multiple Gold Award winner, she has served on the Advisory Council for NJ Monthly magazine. Her work has been featured in several books as well as many of our regional publications including (201) the Best of Bergen, NJ Monthly, Design NJ, NY Spaces, and newspapers including the New York Times, The Record, and The Star Ledger.

If your project is large or small; residential or commercial; renovation or new construction; Rona says:

When done properly, you don’t see the designer’s influence…You just feel great. You will immediately know: This is incredibly perfect for me!
